Yep, we are a dog friendly bar, within reason, so just follow the rules below and we will all get along. We probably even want to meet your little guy or gal. Maybe you and your pup can become regulars after your walks.

Cunneen’s has had many canine visitors over the years and your dog is welcome to visit and have a pint with you, especially during the quieter hours of the day. There are a few simple rules though.

Please, make sure your dog is well behaved and well socialized with both people and other dogs. A good walk before you get here and you’ll both be having fun.

Please, bring a leash and keep your pup with you, while we love dogs, not all our customers like dog kisses.

It is the bartender’s discretion as to whether dogs are allowed at any given moment, so please don’t be offended if you are asked to bring your buddy back another time. Sometimes it’s just too crowded, or maybe there’s an event planned. We are, after all, not a dog park.

And the most important rule: NO DOGS AFTER 6:30 p.m. on THURSDAY.

Also, if you’ve been to the website before, you may have noticed we used to have a bunch of photos of our dog buddies posted here. Well, WE LOST THEM! There was a big FIRE on the internet and fortunately no one and no dogs were hurt….. OK, there wasn’t a fire, it was a BIG INTERNET DOG that ATE our photos…. Um… would you believe, an internet flood…. Ok, seriously, we just lost them, sorry. So, if you want to bring your pup back in, we can take a new pic and post it here. Just ask for the web guy. (That’s me 😉 )
